Cutie Pie

OK- so I have finally stepped into the modern age and upgraded my cell phone to the new T-Mobile Google Phone. Its not as great as I thought it would be. But I am not sure what I expected. I snapped this picture of Grace in the tub- careful to not show any of her "goods" as I don't to be accused of exploiting my child. Not too bad of a picture for a cell phone.

Grace is still in my MHHO (my humble honest opinion) one of the cutest, sweetest and smartest little 2 1/2 year olds I know. Some of the thing that she says and remembers blows me away on a daily basis. She told me yesterday that Ni Ni is Daddy's mommy and Yi Yi is his Daddy. Now honestly people, tell me what child that age makes that connection???

She woke up the other day and told me she wanted a big brother. No definition at the time if he had 2 or 4 legs. I am going to let is go for a while and see if that comment comes back around and I'll ask for more clarification. I can't afford another 4 legged brother for her. Ours are aging and seem to cost a lot of money in affording their medications. Not sure I can afford to bring home a 2 legged one either...

Things about Grace

She is a little over 28 months now and surprises us everyday with some of the things she says.

She can count to 11 without any assistance from us.(I heard this for the first time tonight and I almost fell over)
Sings her ABC's
Loves to sing nursery rhymes- her favorites are:
Jack and Jill (learned in one day)
Jack Be nimble
Georgie Porgie
Songs include:
Twinkle Twinkle little star
Mary had a little lamb
Itsy bitsy spider
I'm a Little teapot
Old McDonald
Happy Birthday
I could go on. We have to sing all of these before she goes to bed- almost every night.

Things she says:
Let me tell you something
Give it some gas buddy (Scott takes credit for this one)
I love you- In english and Mandarin
I'm sugar and you are honey mommy
Alex and Ralph- they are my boys
Maggie, she's my girl
Have a nice day
See you later
I want to watch cartoons in your bed mommy
Change the channel- its a commercial. I don't like commercials
I pooped- Daddy come change me. (funny how she asks him over me- I am NOT complaining)

She loves to help with the laundry- including knowing where the soap goes and pushing the buttons, going the dishes and sweeping with the swiffer. I can keep he busy for a good 1/2 hour with that task.

Ok- just a little fun for now. She is 28 months going on 28. Scott thinks if she is shown how to do open heart surgery she can pick it up by watching it a few times- just like the chores around the house. So I figure she could be doing surgery all by herself at maybe 7. It takes time to get through medical school and doing your internship. But she is a quick study.
The only thing we can't seem to get her to do is poop and pee in the toilet all of the time! Go figure, the easiest if tasks.
